Process

We undertake vessel handling through our channel partner cooperation involving the services of SKB group of companies, Kolakta. Vessel once arrived at the sandheads at ocean, all the necessary arrangement right from processing the documents, planning meeting with all stake holders, obilization of the team, eqipments (loader, grab, dunnage, trapaulins, ropes etc.) and the barges. The discharge from the main vessel to the barges at the sea water is done, with proper care maintaining coordination with the pilot and the surveying team. Strict monitoring is carried out to attain maximum output simultaneously keeping a vigil to control losses during transshipment.

Upon arrival of the goods at the berth, goods are off loaded from the barges at the jetties on the platform built to receive the cargo. Precautionary measures are taken to keep the freshness of the cargo averting the probable adulteration and packing is done manually in bags and stitching is done after weighing. Storing, stacking in shed, loading on to railway wagons and transporting the whole consignment to further final destination via rail/road is done as the flow moves. Goods are delivered post submission of the lab testing report followed by custom clearance. Finally the customs cleared consignment move to the respective warehouses of AICL/STCL.
